I like the steam punk stuff :-DDDDDDDD Spiderman versus Shiva!! ...great, that could be a real fun idea...mixing any sort of sets and figs in a wargame. The rules could be a bit difficult to write. They would have to be very adaptable..but imagine how much more enyoyable...no restrictions on game play or historical/genre based play. Thanks for that..it made me laugh :-D Cheers Paul
Inspirational - maybe I will paint some VSF British, too :) But it would be hard work to get my fellows to HOTT, after I just persuaded them to go für 20 mm napoleonics ...
You could ease your group into HOTT by adapting your Napolioncs. Add a Hero there, a Flyer (balloon) there, Hordes (French cannon fodder?), Clerics, Paladins, Magicians (didn't they think of Napolion himself as a bit of a tactical majician?), then add some fantastic machines...sail powered land ships? Leonardo's turtle cars, updated for the Napolionic era? Man powered submarines...let your imagination run wild!

Why write it, it's already been written! Hordes of the Things. Great fun, give 'em a try!

Hmmm, my spidey senses tingling!
ReplyDeleteThat splinter cam does rock, and looks great on the table.
Well down
Cheers mate.
ReplyDeleteAndy (the over-sized Scorpion driver) made the airboat, incl. paintwork, so I just kinda copied his when I made the steam tank.
HOTT's a great game - where else can you evenly match VSF Brits against spiders!
