Completed 20mm Skelly Army

...well, so far, anyway.

Good afternoon,

Here, in all their pretty much completed glory are my Skellies @ ~1000 Warmaster points worth or just over 2 and a half HOTT armies worth. (Could spin them out to three armies with some appropriate allies.)

Skellies for both HOTT and WMA

3Rd2Cavaly60660
3Bs2Hounds30630

1  Tomb King130 130
2  Wizards90 90

Well, I finally finished them by polishing of four more horde elements...

...two more Shooter elements...

...one more Rider element...

(which are atop of a couple of Newline Ancient Brit chariot horses!)

...and three WMA command stands...

...as well as adding some very dried looking static grass to the bases of the whole army. The painted sand by itself looked...flat...

I could possibly add some Zombie elements using the 20mm zombies from Zombies!!! the tile/board game (though we ran out of them at one point in our last game and had to bring them over from the unvisited part of the city - everyone was racing for the helicopter at the other end of town!), or try to find two more elements worth of Skelly flyers but for now I'll concentrate on other things.

  3. very nice army. I've always wanted a HOTT undead army with the classic list, lots of hordes, just never got around to it. I'm all jealous of yours now! LOL

  5. Thanks boys.

Angry (Fran?) - tempting, but I want to get those PSC Pz IV-Hs that I got for Christmas assembled...and some more Epic stuff...and the Stuka and Hurricane for Crete...and the Sarmations...and Late Imperial Romans...ho hum...

Paul - such praise indeed! Thanks. Happy New Year to you too.

Adept - go for it! Two boxes of Caesar Skellies will give you the bulk of what you need. Mostly!

Monty - cheers mate! Great wee BT-7s, by the way.

Happy New Year to you all,

    Nick
