Yay, it worked. Well, it's sitting pretty, anyway...I wonder if the plane magnet will peel off when I try to separate the two...

No, no plans for the base. Kinda like the wooden look - reminds me of those wooden id tags Fighter Command used to push around during the Battle of Britain. Sir Keith Park - the Kiwi who saved London!
