Term 2 Break Work in Progress

Good morning,

Over the first few of days of the Term 2 break I've been pottering away with these...

...to the point where, now that their base coats are done, I can put them aside for now while I paint up these...

...for our annual HOTT Day in July tourney on Sunday.

  1. Very nice Panzer IVs Nick, they really look the business. Do you have any decals for them? If you need some give me a shout as I have a gurt heap of German Decals.
Are those the new HaT 17th Lancers? They look way cool....I'm tempted by these, and after seeing Will's Wargames Blog Colonials lately....

    Enjoy your holidays my friend,
    Cheers,
    John.

    1. Hi John,

Yep, they're the Hat 17th Lancers. I need some mounted support for my VSF army. And they look cool!

As for the offer of decals, yes please. I don't have any German decals. Mind you I've yet to apply the camo, and next week'll be pretty busy - I've got to write up a 70 minute ICT presentation with a mate... plus planning for next term. So no urgency!

  2. No Probs. What do you need, crosses & numbers? If numbers, what colour?

    1. Umm, yep, both please. Colour? What did they use in Italy? What's a good generic colour?

    2. Had a quick look around, seems that black with white outlines would be the way to go with numbers...

    1. Cheers Paul. I'm sure that's the very phrase that the Germans themselves used during inspections. :-)

And yes indeed, John's a very generous chap.
