Good afternoon,
This is the first report of my games in yesterday's tourney.
Stan was attacking, so I laid out the terrain, and Stan laid out his trains.
I set up...
...and away we went. Early on, Stan's God arrived. Sir Toppham Hat, a.k.a. The Fat Controller...
...who promptly zipped around behind my line, pushed back my Airboat...
...and zapped back my Magician General's, well, zap (seeing as it is a steam powered zappy gun)...and that was it!
'Twas a very quick game! Quick note to self - don't try to take on a God with a Magician...it doesn't end well. 'Specially if that Magician is your general!

What a bizzare HOTT army concept.... I do love the bases though.
ReplyDeleteStan got the idea when he saw a cheap book-with-toys boxed set, complete with the play mat that he cut up for the bases.
DeleteBrilliant!
Mavis also huffs and puffs, and frightens horses. And can handle the rough. So, beast it is :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
DeleteFull marks for the inspired use of toy trains!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I said! Well, perhaps not in so many words...
DeleteIn awe at the creativity.
ReplyDeleteThat Fat Controller looks suspiciously like Al Capone but with a top hat.....
Thanks John. That's the beauty of HOTT - you can let your creativity go wild!
DeleteAnd now that you mention it...yes...yes he does...
Love the toy trains! Keep the good posts comin
ReplyDeleteYeah, I may have mentioned it before, but Stan's Thomas the Tank Engine and his Army of Sodor is brilliant!
