It was a great game Monty. Again, the respective lists were by the seat of my pants, they weren't very balanced points wise, but I figured Mark's Kiwis just had to hold up the Germans for...a bit...as they were playing their part of the bug out from Greece, 1941. And hold them up they did.
Last week I ran the Crossfire Stalingrad scenario at my local club and I felt it was well received. It would be interesting to add an air element to it. I will have to have a serious look at the information you linked to on Balagan.
Yes, I saw it. Great game. I was playing the a/c basically as written, crossed with a little Spearhead - the plane turned up on board facing it's target, did it's attack and left. We both had three missions over 'contested airspace' - the Stuka turned up on a roll of 5 (once per activation), the Hurricane on a 6. To more accurately represent the situation in Greece during the retreat, I should have only given Mark one mission with the Hurri. But where's the fun in that?!
YESS!!! Every time I see anything CF-related, I get that old hankering again....!
