X Wing with Brucie. Game Two.

Good evening,

And on to game two.

After giving me a sound thrashing, Bruce was keen for another [50 point] game, this time taking both an X and Y Wing. Just short of the end of the alphabet...

I took the same TIE Is...

I'm not sure, but I think Bruce took a wrong turn here...

...so I took some advantage of his inexperience!

I stripped his shields...

...and poured on the pain!

Right, with the Rookie Pilot out of the way, time to concentrate on Dutch Vander.

From Brue's perspective, Dutch was in a target rich environment! He target locked the Sabre Squadron pilot...

...how'd I survive that?! Must have had good evade rolls. Though, if memory serves, Bruce did strip the TIE I down to it's last remaining hull point, so I flew it out of harms way, for the time being.

And flew Soontir right into Dutch so neither could fire at each other. (The Y Wing was equipped with an ion turret.)

We separate, I turn back for another try...

...and get done for my trouble!

Right, time to Push the Limit to pile up those focus and evade tokens.

Huzzah!

A much closer game this time. And a good time was had by all. So much so, that Bruce was keen for another go the following day with 100 points worth.

Which, duely, we did.

Nick
