HOTT Day in December, Game 2

Well, sorta.

My second game was a bit of a bust really.

I was playing Tony and his 15mm WW2 Germans who I had met before, but this time with the FW-190 and Stuka swapped out for a HS-129 with my Numidians.

  • Rider General
  • 5 Riders
  • 1 Behemoth
  • 1 God
  • 2 Blades
  • 2 Lurkers

I deployed the troops...

...with their supporting acts waiting patiently in the background.

My first PIP roll happened to be a 6, so, since I had a mounted army facing a bunch of shooters, I deployed my wall of sand...

...and that was the end of that. Tony conceeded, refusing to fight a God - his argument being that they completely imbalance the game. My experience with Gods begs to differ!

So...I sat out this round.

Had a look at a Dystopian Wars game - cool minis.

    1. Well, not really the way I was hoping to spend that round of the competition.

  2. Sounds a bit like he took his ball and went home? I could be misconstruing the report however, which would be fairly typical for me :)
I hope you still had fun.

    1. Kind of did. In a pleasant enough, matter of fact kind of way, but still...

  3. Bit of a shame that he just packed it in when the god arrived. May as well have saved the setup time and just not bothered playing at all.
