Finally, I have got my pipes and silos sabot (and not sabot) terrain features completed, to complement my silly sabot city.
The black paper under the crater...slots? Holes? Anyway, that's there 'cause I cut the crater shapes just a little too big! Similarly, I rounded off the corners in the silo sabot base just a little too much, leaving gaps that will show the battle cloth underneath. Ah well.
Still got heaps of these pipes 'n industrial bits left over from a box of, well, industrial pips and silos and stuff I got ages back. If I could ever be bothered, I could make up a pipeline or two that could cross the table. But then I'd have to get more MDF and cut it up and glue and paint and...well, this'll do for the time being!
Nick

ReplyDeleteMore Crossfire goodies? I look forward to seeing them.
Hi John. Yep, I'm at the end of week 1, start going back for half days next week.
DeleteAnd yes, more Crossfire (game tomorrow) and a few Early German/Kiwi bits and bods to bring them up to Battalion strength.
I'm about to start on them shortly, after I finish my bowl of Weetbix!
Looks fantastic NIck!! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark. Would you like to get together for a game with them? I'm on holiday for the next week.
